This particular vegetable is a member of the Gemmifera Group of cabbages (Brassica oleracea). One thing about this plant is that it require a cool weather for it to do very well. The Brussels Sprout look like cabbage but has a denser texture and milder flavor. One thing about this plant is that it takes long time to mature.
