Actually Doves are very easy to care
for. Doves are social creatures and they will do well in either a cage or in an
aviary and they can easily be kept as a single bird or as a pair. Dove birds
are best known for its gentle temperament and most Ringneck Dove makes a great
pet that is sweet natured and almost naturally tame. Diamond Doves are also
popular as pets.
Whenever you bring your dove home make
sure you give it a couple days to get used to its new home, thereafter you can
begin to allow the dove out to explore its surroundings. Most domesticated
doves and pigeons like human contact. They are also quiet and peaceful and they
also make a wonderful pet.
