This particular vegetable actually originated
from America. Amaranth leaves belong to the family of Amaranthaceae. Other members
of the family are spinach, beetroot, quinoa and chard. This particular vegetable
really grows well in a variety of soil types. The kind of soils that is
suitable for growing lettuce will really make a nice place for growing Amaranth.
Just make sure the soil is finely prepared in order to achieve the proper seed
planting depth. Make sure the seeds is planted no more than 1/4 inch deep. I am
