Getting a bigger eggs from your
poultry farm is very easy if you can carry out the following steps. The
following are what you really need to do if you actually want to get a bigger
eggs from your poultry farm;
1.Try as much as possible to make sure you
have young, healthy, happy hens. The fact is that your hens need to be healthy
for them to lay great eggs, try to always check for health issues. Make sure
your hens are not stressed out. The fact still remain that happy chickens with
access to outdoors and that also have a normal social life will really lay better
eggs.
2.Make sure you feed your chickens right: One
thing about Chickens is that they need high quality feed to make healthy eggs.
Try and make sure that you are feeding them with good laying feed, try and
provide enough calcium for them, and also supplement their diet with much fresh
greens and scraps as possible.
3.Make sure you raise a breed that is known
for laying large, healthy eggs in your climate. The fact is that not all
Chicken breeds are created equal when it comes to laying, and also not all
breeds can produce well in all climates. Breeds like Bantam lay tiny eggs no
matter what you feed them. While Mediterranean origin Chicken breeds like
Leghorns or Minorcas, like hot weather and they won't lay well in cold
climates. Make sure you pick the one that is prolific and right for your
locale.
